Simply the ultimate marmalade and still local even though in North Devon. Victoria has a wonderful reputation with awards which we can't match!
For both hanging baskets and ourdoor containers, West Country Baskets help us to keep The Somerville looking as lovely as it does!
The only water based company in UK that collects the empty glass bottles , sterilize and refill environmentally friendly in the old fashioned way.
We would never use supermarket bread so finding Shaldon Bakery can deliver six days a week was a god-send. Try the Uglibun, which we often have on during the summer months.
Ann supplies us with her wonderful jams in which all the fruit is supplied from the county (during the season). Whortleberry Jam, which is the Devon name for Blueberries picked on the Moors, it's wonderful on toast!!!
RML Meats, our butchers in Totnes, make their own sausages by the traditional method - we especially love their "Old English Sausages", and their thick cut back.
As they say themselves, Devonshire Tea provide "Simple blends of classic teas from the Eastern world, lovingly created by a little company in the West of England".
In Kent, so Café De Monde are not a West Country company, but they do provide excellent coffee ...
